Awesome place! Beautiful scenery and so many different activities to do with the whole family.
Shops and all were closed for winter but beach park was open. In a sunny day, it was an amazing experience. Will certainly visit again.
A nice little lake but lots of road noise on one side. In season there are family activities. There is a small shop and in season a little.cafe. For walkers the walk is brief and limited. For dog owners there is a part of the lake in which dogs can happily swim. And there is one bin to throw dog waste. For around half the walk round the lake your dog needs to be on lead. At a fast clip the circuit can be done in half an hour.

Excellent. Really good value for money. Nice beach and parkland. Great outdoor play area for kids. I went on a Monday which was nicely busy - enough people to make a nice atmosphere but plenty of space on the beach. The beach is fairly small so I imagine weekends and school holidays it would be a bit of a squeeze. Fine amenities. Water was lovely. Food available on site. Great value for money.
