I did NOT say it was a reversing camera, the van already has one, I said it was a Satnav/dash cam. And I gave her the make and model to look up on the internet, which she told me you had done. Clearly NOT True.I see nothing but great reviews here. Sorry to spoil the party but my experience with CARS was less than terrific. Phoned asking to have an Avtex TourerOne Plus, a satnav/dash cam combined, fitted to my campervan, was told by the receptionist that Mark Halliday would email me either later that day or first thing next morning, I also gave her my phone number. When no such email or phone call came within that time I phoned again. Receptionist said she was sorry she had not called back but they would not be able to do the job as it had to be done indoors because wiring needed to be run the length of the van. She got quite offended that someone should have the temerity to question the wisdom of the words of Mr Halliday when I tried to argue that it was the same as fitting a normal satnav, just needed connecting to a 12 volt electricity supply.The saving grace was she gave me the number of a more local firm that did the job perfectly today. It took 20 mins and simply needed connection to a 12 volt supply, it did not have to be done indoors and could have easily been done in situ by any competent auto electrician.
A great all round service. Booked Mark via his website and received an online quote for the work. I was given a clear and concise time and date for the work to be done (cable tidying, 12V installation, head unit installation). Mark arrived on time and went about his work in a friendly and professional manner. Would use again and highly recommend to others.
