Best fish and chips I have ever had, first class service. Highly recommended. Well worth a visit
Great upmarket fish & chip shop. There were at least 5 dishes I wanted to order. I went with the classic haddock & chips & wasn't disappointed.
Really lovely lunch had the real scampi, and a gingerella ale, Better half had med cod & and chips with cranberry juice finished with cappuccino which was really well made.. Definitely recommend, bear in mind everything is freshly made to order you can taste the freshness.
Fantastic place. Very friendly staff and the food is an 11 out of ten. Can see why they have won best fish n chips award 2018. Definitely returning again soon.
We found this restaurant by accident - and we we were so glad we did. Certainly the best fish & chips we've had for a very long time! The side order of ham hock peas was a revelation. The staff are very friendly, very accommodating. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious meal. Will certainly be visiting again soon!After posting the above review, we decided to pay another visit to the restaurant today. We were rudely turned away from the restaurant as there were no tables for 2 guests, but ample of free tables for 4 guests or more. We had only popped in for a quick bite to eat and was devastated to be told we couldn't have one of the vacant tables. No apologies received from the staff member, how rude! We will not be returning in the future
