not good opening hours but lots of books to choose from.
A two floor library with plenty of staff, computers, newspapers, a children's book area, story telling and sing songs and lots of books. It's to be found at the end of a tunnel that runs off the square in the centre of this email.
The staff are always extremely helpful , not only with library services but also council services, such as renewing bus pass applications. The hi tech booking in and out system is something else - makes the old 'stamp and ticket' system look like the Dark Ages! The library e-services, for audio books and electronic magazines is first rate too.
Just had occasion to visit, what a rude, unhelpful and offhand response I got. Not the first time either
Fair range of books / dvds etc. with a reference section upstairs. Ebook service also available.
