I feel so very unhappy at registering a low star. Respect and admiration has been overtaken by absolute frustration at the current system brought about by the state of the NHS. With very great regret, I cannot accept the current attitude of the staff, no doubt brought about by the pressures, but there is no recognition of the vulnerable/unhappy/wanting patient who seeks help in seeking an appt.
i am unsure why the people have given one star as i have always found the doctors and staff have been most helpfull. yes you do have to accept that you might not get an appointment just when you want it, I have always had a phone call and an appointment to suit, thank you
Doctors are great (mostly) but obviously over run with work and lack of staff. The only reason I have to rate the surgery 1* is due to the utterly awful appointment system that I'd now in place. I work full time in a job that I can't answer personal calls in so I can't take calls from a GP to decide if I need an appointment or not (I always do, I'm on immuno modulatory therapy for many auto immune issues). This system does not work for a lot of people, it needs to be changed back to the previous system and ideally open up online booking again
Impossible to get an appointment even when you go to the surgery and are prepared to wait a few days to be seen. Reception staff can be quite rude and one is left with the feeling that the practice is run for the benefit of the employees rather than the patients. Time to change surgery!
Great surgery, great staff, the booking system is finally fair - those with a real need get to see a doctor. Those that just have a sniff or a bruise are triaged away to a pharmacy. Well done
